PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for God’s Comfort
Father, I thank You because even in my sadness, You are my refuge and comfort. Thank You for being close to the brokenhearted and lifting my spirit when I am down – Psalm 34:18
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for Peace in Troubled Times
Lord, fill my heart with Your peace that passes all understanding. Calm the storms within me and help me to rest in the assurance of Your love – Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Strength to Keep Going
Father, when my heart is heavy and my spirit is weak, strengthen me. Give me courage to face each day with hope, knowing You are with me – Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Joy to Replace Sadness
Lord, turn my sorrow into joy. Replace my tears with gladness, and let my heart overflow with gratitude for Your goodness and mercy – Psalm 30:11
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.

PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for God’s Healing Touch
Father, I thank You for healing my heart and lifting the weight of sadness from my soul. I believe You are restoring my joy – Jeremiah 31:13
For I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

DECLARATION
I declare that sadness will not define my life. The Lord is my strength, my comfort, and my joy. His peace fills my heart, His Word renews my mind, and His presence surrounds me daily. I will rise above every heaviness and walk in the joy of the Lord. My soul will praise Him in all circumstances, and I will live with hope, knowing that brighter days are ahead.
