Prayer to Thank God for a New Home
PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Blessing of a Home
Father, I thank You for blessing me with a new home. I acknowledge that this is a gift from You, and I give You all the glory for making this dream a reality – Psalm 127:1
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
PRAYER 2 – Thanksgiving for Your Provision
Father, I thank You for providing the resources, opportunities, and favor needed to acquire this home. You opened doors that no man could shut, and I stand amazed at Your faithfulness – Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…
PRAYER 3 – Thanksgiving for Safety and Shelter
Father, I thank You for providing a safe and peaceful place to live. Thank You for a roof over my head, a place to rest, and a sanctuary of comfort and joy – Proverbs 24:3–4
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
PRAYER 4 – Thanksgiving for the Atmosphere of Blessing
Father, I thank You because this home will be filled with love, laughter, peace, and Your presence. I dedicate it to You and invite Your Spirit to dwell in every room – Joshua 24:15
…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for Future Memories and Protection
Father, I thank You for all the beautiful memories, celebrations, and moments of joy that will take place here. Thank You for watching over this home continually – Psalm 121:8
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
DECLARATION
I declare that my new home is a place of peace, joy, and abundance. God’s presence fills every room, His angels guard every corner, and His blessings overflow in every area of my life here. This house will be a place of prayer, hospitality, and laughter. It will witness victories, answered prayers, and celebrations. No evil shall enter it, and every person who steps through the door will feel the love of God.
