Prayer for Wedding Day

PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Gift of Marriage
Father, I thank You for this beautiful day You have made. Thank You for the gift of marriage, the love we share, and the journey You have brought us through to this moment – Proverbs 18:22
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for God’s Presence and Blessing
Lord, we invite You to be the center of our wedding day. Let Your presence fill every moment and Your blessing rest upon our union – Psalm 127:1
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Peace and Joy Throughout the Day
Father, fill our hearts with peace and joy from the start of this day to its end. Let everything flow smoothly, and let love and happiness overflow – Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Love and Unity in the Union
Lord, bind us together with unbreakable love and unity. Help us to cherish, respect, and support each other in every season of our marriage – Colossians 3:14
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Father, I thank You in advance for a wedding day filled with beauty, laughter, and unforgettable memories. May this celebration honor You in every way – Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I declare that our wedding day will be covered in peace, joy, and God’s favor. Every detail will reflect His goodness, and every heart will feel His love. Our vows will be sealed in His presence, and our union will stand strong through the years. This day will be the joyful beginning of a marriage rooted in Christ and filled with blessings.
