Prayer for Starting a New Job

PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Opportunity
Father, I thank You for blessing me with this new job. Thank You for answering my prayers and opening this door of favor – Psalm 118:23
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for Wisdom and Understanding
Father, grant me wisdom, understanding, and quick learning in this new role so I can excel in all my responsibilities – James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Favor with Colleagues and Superiors
Father, surround me with Your favor as with a shield, causing me to enjoy good relationships and favor with my team and superiors – Psalm 5:12
For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Protection and Fruitfulness
Father, protect me from every workplace trap or opposition, and make me fruitful, productive, and impactful in this position – Deuteronomy 28:6
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for the Answer
Father, I thank You because You have gone ahead of me in this job and made every crooked path straight. I thank You because my steps are ordered and my success is assured – Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

DECLARATION
I declare that I am stepping into this new job with divine wisdom, favor, and protection. My work will shine as a testimony of God’s goodness, and I will prosper and advance in this position in Jesus’ name.
