Prayer for Healing for a Friend with Cancer

PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Gift of Life
Father, I thank You for the life of my friend and for keeping them through this season, even in the midst of this health challenge – Psalm 103:2–3
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for Complete Healing
Father, stretch forth Your healing hand and remove every trace of cancer from my friend’s body – Jeremiah 30:17
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Strength and Comfort
Father, strengthen my friend in spirit, soul, and body, and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding – Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Divine Intervention in Treatment
Father, guide the doctors, nurses, and medical team attending to my friend so that every treatment works for their healing – Exodus 15:26
…for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for the Answer
Father, I thank You because You have heard my prayer and healing is taking place in my friend’s body right now – Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

DECLARATION
I declare that my friend is healed and whole in the name of Jesus. Cancer has no power over their body. Every cell, tissue, and organ is restored to perfect health. The life of God flows through them, bringing strength, vitality, and peace. They will live and not die, and their testimony of healing will bring glory to God and inspire many.
