Morning Prayer When You Have a Job Interview

PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Opportunity
Father, I thank You for the gift of life and for opening the door of opportunity for this job interview today. Thank You for guiding my steps to this moment – Psalm 75:6–7
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for Wisdom and Clarity
Father, fill my heart and mind with divine wisdom, clarity of thought, and the right words to speak during my interview – James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Favor Before Interviewers
Father, let Your uncommon favor rest upon me today, causing me to find acceptance and approval in the eyes of my interviewers – Proverbs 3:4
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Peace and Confidence
Father, let Your peace rule in my heart today. Remove every fear, anxiety, and self-doubt, and clothe me with confidence and boldness – 2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for Answered Prayers
Father, I thank You because You have heard me and gone ahead of me into this interview. Thank You because I return with a testimony of victory – 1 John 5:14–15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

DECLARATION
Today, I walk into my interview with divine wisdom, unusual favor, and unshakable confidence. The Lord has gone before me, and my success is guaranteed. I receive my letter of appointment in Jesus’ name.
