Published August 11, 2025 by Prayer Team

PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Church in Nigeria
Father, I thank You for the faith of Your children in Nigeria who, despite persecution, continue to stand firm for the Gospel – 1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for Protection and Preservation
Father, shield every persecuted Christian in Nigeria from harm, danger, and attacks, and surround them with Your angels – Psalm 91:11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Strength and Boldness
Father, fill them with courage and boldness to stand strong in their faith despite opposition – Acts 4:29
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Divine Intervention and Justice
Father, arise and bring justice for Your people in Nigeria, frustrating the plans of the wicked – Psalm 7:9
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for the Answer
Father, I thank You because the persecuted Church in Nigeria will emerge stronger, victorious, and full of testimonies – 2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

DECLARATION
I declare that persecuted Christians in Nigeria are protected, strengthened, and victorious. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue raised against them is condemned. The Gospel will continue to spread, and their faith will inspire multitudes. God’s presence surrounds them like a shield, and His justice will prevail over every act of violence. The Church in Nigeria will stand unshaken, and the name of Jesus will be glorified across the land.
