Prayer for Wedding Preparation

PRAYER 1 – Thanksgiving for the Gift of Marriage
Father, I thank You for the blessing of love and the opportunity to enter into the covenant of marriage. Thank You for bringing us together and guiding our journey to this day – Proverbs 18:22
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

PRAYER 2 – Asking for Peace and Calmness During Planning
Lord, in the midst of the busy preparations, give us peace of mind and calmness of spirit. Help us to focus on what truly matters and not be overwhelmed – Philippians 4:6–7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

PRAYER 3 – Asking for Provision and Resources
Father, provide every resource we need for our wedding. Open doors of favor, supply our needs, and let everything come together beautifully in Your perfect timing – Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

PRAYER 4 – Asking for Unity and Love
Lord, strengthen our bond as we prepare for marriage. Help us to communicate with love, make decisions in unity, and keep You at the center of our relationship – Ecclesiastes 4:12
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

PRAYER 5 – Thanksgiving for a Joyful Wedding Day
Father, I thank You in advance for a joyful and memorable wedding day. I believe it will be filled with peace, love, and Your presence – Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

DECLARATION
I declare that our wedding preparation will be filled with peace, joy, and divine provision. Every plan will align with God’s will, and every need will be supplied. We will enter marriage with love, unity, and purpose, knowing the Lord is the foundation of our home. Our wedding day will glorify God and be a beautiful beginning to a lifelong covenant.
